We are proud to announce, we have teamed up with Darlington’s, leading music centre, The Forum, to be its first community sponsor of the year!
The Forum Music Centre, located on Borough Road, has partnered with us, to develop its presence in the local area and strengthen social media activity, with the aim of building relationships and increasing engagement with local businesses across Darlington.
The community hub, ran by Humantics, provides a place for young people to be inspired and encouraged to engage with music and the arts. As a Community Interest Company, Humantics is asset locked and ‘not for profit’, enabling all the surplus finances to be reinvested into enhancing and further developing the services offered for the local and cultural community.
Housing an impressive 200 capacity performance space, a digital recording studio and further meeting and conference rooms, the centre is the perfect place to hold business seminars or networking opportunities within the community.
Commenting on this budding new venture, Allison McKay, managing director of Humantics CIC, said: “Harvey & Hugo is a young and dynamic PR company, so it is fantastic that they have been the first to agree to support us.
“Our new initiative is to develop mutually beneficial partnerships, between the community and corporate sectors in and around Darlington and the wider area. We are excited at the prospect of Harvey & Hugo’s professional input and we think it will be of huge benefit to the growth of the centre.”
The Forum aims to engage with 12 local businesses, offering discounted packages for corporate function space, event and team building services. They will also be offering packages for gigs and events, for staff or customers of the sponsors, along with a monthly showcase within the Forum for a chosen month.
With an exciting year in the pipeline for both companies, Account Manager, Jess Inglis, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support a company that adds so much value to the wider community.
“The Forum team is so passionate and determined to make a difference in Darlington, and that truly resonates with our brand values too.”
Adding to this exciting announcement, The Forum Music Centre, has recently announced further collaboration with The Learning Curve Group, to provide fully funded courses for young people, to help them gain the skills needed for employment.
The collaboration between the two companies will mean, The Forum, can now offer a wide variety of SIA accredited courses, including: SIA License (Security Industry Authority) Customer Services, Health and Social Care, Retail Operations and Business Administration, as well as, specialist courses in in Dementia Care, Mental Health Awareness, Nutrition and Health and Understanding Autism.
