Barnard Castle-based Architextural perfect fit for FIS

William Smith Group 1832 is delighted to announce it has been accredited as a member of Finishes & Interiors Sector.

Established in 2015, FIS, represents specialists in all aspects of the interior fit-out and finishes, refurbishment and building finishes industry, with national members from across the sector supply chain.

The decision for the Company to apply for FIS membership comes following the establishment of Architextural. This division of William Smith Group 1832, supplies all architectural and building related films, from decor both inside and out, to solar and security window films. Boasting an ever growing portfolio of products relevant to the finishes and interiors industry, becoming a FIS member highlights its commitment to investing in these sectors.

With a goal of setting its members up for success, as part of FIS, Architextural will receive opportunities through advice, training, technical support and dialogue with government and other stakeholders.

FIS membership is not automatic and applicants are subject to strict vetting procedures. Not only are members vetted on application, they are vetted every three years to ensure they continue to meet the high standards FIS demands. Ongoing vetting comprises an on-site assessment, plus a detailed documentary review.

Following a successful 2017 for the brand, including the launch of its own website and investment in stock with leading brands 3M and Cover Styl’, the FIS membership is another step in Architextural highlighting its commitment to the growing industry.

Speaking about the accreditation, marketing manager Lindsay Appleton, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised by this prestigious title, as being a FIS member means our customers know they really are getting the best standards from us.
