William Smith has announced the creation of a new group structure to reflect its ever-growing product portfolio across diversifying markets.
The new identity, named William Smith Group 1832, will now house three divisional brands including trade supplier of vinyl films, William Smith, trade sign manufacturers, Smith Sign & Display, and the recently launched Architextural™, which supplies architectural and building-related films.
Chris Bradley, Head of Marketing for the group, said: “Following a sustained period of growth and to reflect the dynamic nature of the markets we operate in, we have taken the strategic decision to slightly change how our company brands are presented.
“Creating a new group company structure provides the flexibility we need as we move into more diverse markets.
“We are fiercely proud of our 185 years of experience and dedication to customer service, so we wanted to reflect this by adding our year of establishment to the new name. This change marks a highpoint for us in our history.”
After experiencing significant growth over recent years, the business is keen to continue its commitment to improving its range of products and services for customers. The new legal structure will launch on Monday 3rd July, 2017. Customers won’t notice much of a difference – the only change to their records will be on invoices from the company, which will now bear the name William Smith Group 1832.
