Venture Properties is one of the leading lights in estate agency in the region- constantly challenging tradition to improve the way the industry operates and staying one step ahead of the crowd in terms of technology and customer service. Celebrating its 10th year of business in 2018, Venture has six branches across the County Durham area, in Darlington, Chester-le-Street, Cockerton, Bishop Auckland, Crook and Durham City.
We began working with Venture Properties way back in 2014, to provide PR and social media support for the launch of its Durham City branch. Since then we have provided a wide range of support across PR, social media and marketing, and continue to today, with the current focus on the Company’s anniversary.Marketing objectives:
Since 2014, we have written and distributed a collection of press releases across the North East region, promoting Venture Properties’ successes and exciting stories. News has included the launches of the Durham City and Bishop Auckland branches, the announcement of the new Platinum service, team expansions and celebrating the Company’s dominance of the local letting market.

Over the years, we have helped Venture enter a selection of awards, including the North East Service Awards and the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards.
We are also currently working on a profile building piece for the director of Venture Properties to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Company.
We have supported many of the objectives of Venture Properties through the use of their social media accounts, inparticular Twitter and more recently, Facebook. We chose to focus on these platforms as they offer greater accessibility to, and opportunities to interact and connect with, Venture’s target market and local businesses.
When we began working on Twitter in 2014, Venture Properties had 197 followers.

Our social media work includes creating seasonal campaigns to generate engagement. At Christmas, Venture created a comical video to be shared across its social media profiles and we promoted this accordingly. It received 2394 impressions and an impressive 101 pieces of engagement.
Other seasonal activities have included inter-branch competitions, the ’12 Paws of Christmas’ to find shelter dogs a home for Christmas, a ‘Mothers and children match game’ for Mother’s Day, a local Easter Egg Hunt and a Halloween music video.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary we recently created a commissioned infographic, which takes a look at some fun facts about the Darlington branch from 2017. This has now been shared across Venture’s social platforms and we will continue to do so in the coming month.
