Harvey & Hugo’s very own managing director, Charlotte is making a great run for it in the name of charity.
Our sports fanatic boss is taking part in one of the most renowned half marathons.
Charlotte is training rigorously in order to complete the world famous Great North Run in September, in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
She said: “I’ve never taken part in the Great North Run before but I’m very excited. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a fantastic cause that is dear to my heart.
“Thank you so much to those who have already donated and sponsored me. I really hope I can continue to raise funds and achieve my goal of over £500.”
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK charity making a difference to those suffering from the disease.
Charlotte, who was born in the North East and played water polo for Great Britain’s junior team between the ages of 16 – 18, has always seen health and fitness as a key factor to a successful working environment. She encourages her team to take part in sporting events and sees the opportunities to raise money for fantastic charities.
She continued: “Sport is a great team building exercise. My work team and I have just set up a Tuesday evening running club for an event we’re taking part in this September.”
Four of the team members are training for Darlington’s Colour Run which they plan to raise over £500 in aid of The North East Autism Society.
