Durham Tees Valley Training (DTVT), based in Darlington, has opened a new branch in Worcester on the back of growing demand for its transport industry training.
The new territory will be headed up by John Marlow, who has a wealth of experience in the sector, having spent several years working in Africa for Caterpillar, designing machines to be used in copper mines there.
Meanwhile, the company has introduced revolutionary methods based around NLP techniques to its training – something which no other operator in its industry is offering.
The use of NLP has been proven to enhance the learning process, improve information retention and enable trainees to get more out of training courses.
CEO Robin Raine said: “NLP puts a new dimension on the learning process and helps dispel beliefs about limitations, allowing clients to go to the next level more quickly.
“We’re extremely excited because we believe bringing NLP into the business will help to greatly develop our management training and coaching for business leaders.”
Alongside its expansion into the Midlands and its adoption of NLP techniques, DTVT has also launched a new company audit service.
It aims to ensure that clients within the transport industry are compliant with legislation regarding licence requirements, drivers hours , maintenance and defect reporting.
By being compliant they will avoid unnecessary fines and possible custodial sentences for driver’s hours infringements and poor maintenance records.
DTVT offers training in Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph, Health and Safety, Banksman,Taillift and many other aspects of the transport industry. It gives training to individuals as well as to groups of up to 20 people.
