Award-winning accountancy firm, Evolution LLP has promoted two members of its team into senior roles and appointed one as a new director as it continues to expand.
The practice based in Tees Valley, which is rapidly growing due to an expanding client base, has promoted Andrew Rowe, Angeline Stewart and Chris McCann.
Mr Rowe, who was a senior manager before he was appointed director, has been with the accountancy firm since its formation.
He will continue to develop the firm’s profit improvement initiatives, one of the reasons that Evolution is a leading firm in the region.
Mr Rowe said: “I’m delighted to be a part of such a proactive management team.
“As a new director, my role is to drive the firm forward and equip our clients with the business tools they require in the 21st century.
“I am committed to using cutting edge technology such as eTimeTM,our cloud accounting service, which can be used to the benefit of both our clients and the firm.”
Other major appointments were Angeline Stewart, who is now one of Evolution’s audit and accounts managers, and Chris McCann who was appointed as IT manager.
Ms Stewart said: “I feel a great sense of achievement. My hard work has paid off and it makes me feel so proud.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to new challenges and working towards managing my own portfolio of clients. I’m excited with the direction Evolution is taking.”
Newly appointed IT manager, Chris McCann has been gradually working his way up, having worked in IT for 10 years. He will now be responsible for coordinating, developing and designing IT related projects.
He said: “I’m proud that I have been promoted in such a successful company.
“Not many companies, in what is still a difficult economic climate, are investing heavily in IT, which makes Evolution different.
“Although Evolution is a relatively new firm, it has achieved a lot in a short period of time.”
Evolution is continually growing with the expansion of its team and the growth of its client base, and has recently added two full time administrative team members to help support the growing business advisory and tax teams.
Managing partner, Martin Barber, said: “We are so pleased with our newly promoted team members.
“We want the very best talent to provide the very best service.”
Evolution is currently planning an event – Big Up Tees Valley, for the summer to encourage Tees Valley businesses to celebrate the local economic upturn.
