Evolution LLP, based in Tees Valley, was in the running to be crowned Independent Firm of the Year – North of England and Employer of the Year at the prestigious British Accountancy Awards 2013.
The firm, which was also recently named Independent Firm of the Year at the North East Accountancy Awards, was acknowledged for its on-going achievements at the glittering awards ceremony, at The Pavilion at the Tower, in London, last night.
Martin Barber, managing partner at Evolution, said: “We are delighted to have again been shortlisted for two national accountancy awards. Despite not winning, it’s a huge achievement for us to be even considered for a national industry award and we are very proud to have been in the finals for the second year running.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last year, we will continue to grow and hone our services, look after our clients and team and work with our networks to deliver the best business advice in the region.”
The professional services firm has recently bolstered its team with eight new employees and its trainee accountant Francesca Crossling has just become one of the very few newly qualified chartered tax advisers (CTAs) in the region.
Evolution LLP acts for a wide range of clients, from sole traders to multinationals, and provides a broad spectrum of services including personal tax returns and tax planning for high net-worth individuals.
