Grace House North East Children’s Hospice has teamed up with The Kings Head, Lanchester, and The Blacksmith’s Table, Washington, to raise funds and awareness for the charity’s project to build and operate the North East’s first stand alone children’s hospice.
The events have been planned to coincide around the period of Children’s Hospice Week (May 18th – 25th). The Kings Head is renowned locally for its well-priced and great food. The Blacksmith’s Table in Washington has been treating its guests to an a la carte menu for the last 24 years. The King’s Head is offering a three course dinner for £15 a head on Thursday 24th May, starting at 7pm. Likewise, The Blacksmith’s Table has programmed an evening of food and magical entertainment for £35 a ticket on Sunday 27th May, in line with celebrations around its 24th birthday.
Both events guarantee a fantastic night of entertainment, with quizzes and raffles planned, and a magician scheduled to perform at The Blacksmith’s Table. Each ticket sold will generate a donation to the charity direct from each venue, with funds raised from events on the night going to benefit the Grace House project too.
Each event offers the opportunity of a night of food and entertainment for a really worthwhile cause. The events are open for anyone to attend – please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
