Darlington-based Acero Arte has invited enthusiastic piercing artist Bruno Ragonesi to the Company, with further plans to welcome Guinness world record-holder Elaine Davidson for a visit to help promote the world of piercing.
Bruno, from Vigevano near Milan, will initially join Acero Arte from March 27th to April 1st. His specialities are micro dermal implants and corsetry, and his artistic talent – combined with 10 years of experience in the piercing industry – will make him an ideal guest to help raise Acero Arte’s profile in the Darlington community.
Company owner Tracy Thompson-Peschke is hoping that Bruno will come with a new outlook and fresh ideas for the business.
She said: “We are really excited to be welcoming Bruno to Acero Arte. Not only will he bring a new face to the team, but also new skills and techniques to help boost our already extensive range of services.
“In the piercing industry, we all learn from each other and it will be great to pick up new adaptations of piercing art from Bruno. And you never know, he could be the next permanent addition to the team here.”
After Bruno, the Acero Arte team is planning for a visit from Elaine Davidson, who currently holds the record for “World’s Most Pierced Person” with over 8,000 body-piercings in total. Elaine’s mission will be to give the public a greater understanding of the world of piercing.
Tracy added: “With her knowledge, ability and experience, Elaine will be a fantastic guest – and promoter – for Acero Arte.
“She has a fantastic following, so we’re confident that she’ll also be able to encourage more people to come to here and experience a new kind of piercing studio.”
As well as specialising in body-piercings, Acero Arte also features a downstairs art gallery, a small shop and rock-themed café. The team hopes that many more guests will be visiting the premises in the near future.
