Award winning regional PR and marketing firm, Harvey & Hugo is the latest company to sign up to Darlington Cares – a project which matches the skills and resources of local employers to opportunities where they can have a positive impact on the community.
This brings the total number of organisations involved to 18 and features both public and private sector employers, including Cummins, EE, Sherwoods, Marchday, DeepOcean, Modus, Teesside University, Darlington Borough Council and the football club to name a few.
With its head office in Darlington, Harvey & Hugo was established in 2009 by entrepreneur Charlotte Nichols and the company has successfully grown to include seven members of staff and offices also based in Newcastle.
Charlotte said: “As I’m extremely passionate about Darlington and proud to have my business here, it was an honour to be asked to become a member of Darlington Cares. I’m proud to be part of such a valuable organisation and look forward to supporting it.”
Katie Blundell, programme manager for Darlington Cares says: “The addition of Harvey & Hugo to the membership is testament the variety of organisations that have chosen to get involved with Cares to make a positive contribution to their local community.
“The team is helping us to spread the word about the work we do at and in a short space of time have already helped us amass an increased following on our social networks.”
