A new season brings growth and opportunities to learn and Darlington Business Week 2019 offers the perfect chance for our fellow businesses to go ‘back to school’ and make new friends in our thriving borough.
Much like that first day at school, networking can seem like a scary prospect. An activity that some adore, others loathe, but one thing is certain – in most industries, it’s necessary.
Which is why, as part of this year’s business week events, networking guru Jenn from leading North East marketing agency Harvey and Hugo will be speaking to businesses to demonstrate how to network effectively and the best way to prepare and follow up.
As a PR agency in Darlington, we want to give back to our town to are hosting our very own seminar: How to Network Effectively at Business Central Darlington, where we’ll showcase our top tips for utilising your existing network and adding to it further.
The 30-minute session will cover all bases, including how to prepare for a networking event and how to follow up the contacts you make. Once you realise how easy it can be, you will never look back and new business opportunities will soon beckon.
So, bring your best smiles, some interesting facts and of course some business cards to this interactive speed dating-style session. Join us from 1.15pm – 1.45pm on Monday October 7th to take the work out of networking and find your inner business soulmate.
