Liverpool has been chosen as the home to the National Training Centre for a leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers.
Mobile Mini, which has 16 UK branches and over 400 employees nationwide, chose its Liverpool branch at Triumph Trading Park in Speke, as the base for its training and development facility due to its central location and the space available to host the centre.
Thanks to the expertise of Mobile Mini’s Liverpool team, two of Mobile Mini’s own accommodation units have been transformed into a state-of-the-art training space, complete with high-end audio visual equipment, a large seating area to accommodate up to 50 people, kitchen and toilet facilities, as well as an area for parking.
Louise Arnold, HR director for Mobile Mini, was instrumental in bringing this idea to life. She said: “We were hosting meetings and training in various locations around the country which was proving costly. We’re looking forward to making Liverpool our home for not only training but national meetings and events too.”
The firm, which had a turnover of £59.8m in 2016, prioritises the training and development of its employees having delivered over 1,729 training days last year and has recently expanded its HR department to include a dedicated Learning & Development team.
Louise added: “Liverpool has been central to the progression of our training department and we are looking forward to welcoming all of our employees to the site and city.”
