A Darlington-based luxury kitchen company has been awarded Elite Premium Studio status by global manufacturer, Cosentino.
Oakstone Designs, which specialises in the design, construction and installation of stunning high quality kitchens, has become a member of the Cosentino Elite Honours List 2016, one of only two companies in the North East of England.
The global leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces has granted Oakstone Designs Elite Premium Studio status, after recognising its achievements and relentless enthusiasm for Cosentino’s products.
Oakstone Designs has been working with Cosentino for 12 years and has installed numerous Silestone worktops, moulded Integrity sinks and has embraced its new work surface material, Dekton and started to install it in a number of recent projects.
On receiving the accolade, founder of Oakstone Designs Stephen Kennedy said: “We are over the moon to have been given this outstanding award. It is always great to be recognised for the work we do.
“The Elite Premium Studio status we have achieved will give our clients peace of mind. They will know we have illustrated excellence in the use of Cosentino’s products and share a commitment to providing a quality product and service.
“We only use the best quality materials in our furniture and that ethos follows through to the work-surfaces we supply to our customers, which is why we have established strong relationships with companies such as Cosentino and F Jones Cleveland, who expertly process the material for us.”
Cosentino hosted a special celebration dinner to commemorate the Elite Honours Winners, held at Le Manoir Aux Quat-Saisons, Oxfordshire, at which Stephen and senior designer George Campbell received a beautiful glass and Silestone trophy.
The North East-based kitchen design firm received another glass trophy as recognition of its Elite Premium Studio status and will also feature on Cosentino’s website.
Following the innovative kitchen Company’s highly successful year in 2015, the firm opened an additional state-of-the-art showroom in the Grange Road area this year, which showcases some of the Company’s best work and will be used to host cooking demonstration evenings and wine tastings.
The business also invested in a new website and advertising campaign, alongside employing award-winning designer, George Campbell, who brought with him over 30 years’ industry experience.
