So what makes someone leave the warm climate of Portugal for the cold mornings of the North East of England?
I got the answer to that question the moment I arrived into the historical town of Darlington. It’s almost impossible not to fall in love with the beauty of the town and the delightful way people receive you. I felt so good about myself – the first step was done and so I bravely moved onto my second one – getting to Harvey & Hugo, my host company for my Erasmus learning
The first couple of days have been amazing and The Pack made me feel very welcome and part of the team. So here I am, writing this blog and slowly learning the little tricks of the trade with the precious help of the dedicated and professional women that make the company as successful as it is.
But, if you want to know a little secret, every day I arrive at the office with butterflies in my stomach, like a child going to their first exam. I’m having the privilege of learning how a business runs with the the two big H – the ingenious Harvey, CEO of the company, and Hugo, the chairman – the main brains of everything.
