Networking with a difference in the Tees Valley

Networking in the Tees Valley  – some people love it, some people don’t it’s as simple as that.

What can often put people off networking is the formality. That feeling of walking into a room and not knowing anyone, trying to balance a cup of tea in one hand and sometimes a biscuit or bacon sandwich in the other, while still maintaining a professional conversation (without spitting said sandwich everywhere).

How would you feel if instead, you could network with professionals in casual clothes, shoot Nerf guns and eat pizza?

Dream no more! Partnering with Nerf Wars Networking, Tees Valley Business Compass and Advantex Ltd, we’re proud to help bring the successful ‘Networking and Nerf Wars’ events to the Tees Valley.

As part of Darlington Business Week Brand Builder Jenn, PR Guru Natalie and New Bizz Wizz Becca formed Harvey’s angels and took up arms at the first Networking and Nerf Wars at Mowden Park; and it’s safe to say they loved it!

The series of networking events kicked off in Darlington and will move to Borough Hall, Hartlepool on November 28th and will continue into 2019 in Stockton, Middlesbrough and Redcar.

While the games are a lot of fun, it is important that people make genuine connections. Therefore, Tees Valley Business Compass has asked participants to fill in a short survey when they sign up; so we know what it is they are looking to get out of the evening (except a small bruise, or two).

So, if you’re looking for a networking event with a difference, where you can shoot fellow business folk with foam bullets, make new connections oh, and enjoy a slice of pizza, Networking and Nerf Wars may be for you!
