Despite the economic climate, TEMP-TEAM Scunthorpe has been able to add to its existing team of staff after a year of contract expansion and business growth, with a further addition planned later in 2012.
Melissa Dinsdale was the first new appointment at the branch. Her previous sales role and experience helped her make a speedy and positive impact at TEMP-TEAM.
The Scunthorpe branch manager, Janine Kelly, feels very strongly that with expansion it has been key to ensure all legislation and recruitment industry standards are upheld. Janine said, “At TEMP-TEAM we do pride ourselves on maintaining ethical standards and best practise and with the branch’s expansion in 2011 this formed a crucial part of our growth strategy.”
Branch administrator, Jodi King, was the next to join TEMP-TEAM, to process the increased weekly payroll as well as help screen potential candidates and ensure the branch’s compliance with government guidelines.
Sam Bishop was later appointed to help set up a desk specialising in the engineering and technical sector. Sam joined TEMP-TEAM after a successful stint working for a government funded agency helping place people into work.
Janine continued to add: “I’m very pleased with the success the Scunthorpe branch has seen in 2011. The team works together really well and we’re hoping that our efforts will pay off in making this another profitable year.
“We’re continuing to support and expand our long-standing business, and we’re hoping to support one of our larger clients differently this year by actually basing ourselves on their premises in order to offer a more efficient service. We’re also working hard to attract even more business, which our new commercial desk should help us to achieve.”
Rachel Pope, operations director at TEMP-TEAM, said: “It’s great that our Scunthorpe branch is continuing to grow and trade so strongly in a difficult climate.
“Each TEMP-TEAM branch prides itself on offering a flexible service depending on client requirements, and we believe that if the staff members at Scunthorpe continue to put in the effort they’re showing now, then the branch’s business and subsequently its team will be able to grow even further this year.”
