It’s that time of year again, when whirlwind romances are had with cream eggs, bouncing lambs surprise our team and feather dusters get their time to shine. Well, at least in the Harvey & Hugo office, but Spring is certainly the time of year for a little sprucing up; a little post-winter refresh.
So why should your social media accounts be any different? Here’s some advice on how to give your social media a little Spring clean…
Create new content to share
If old content becomes relevant again then share away, but to really keep your audience engaged you need to keep creating engaging content.
Post some new images
A post that includes an image is significantly more likely to get attention, especially on Facebook. Photos are a great way to let people know about the products and services you provide as well as an insight into how your company works, so be more snap happy.
Don’t leave comments unanswered
It might be hard to keep up to date with your social media, but letting interaction go unanswered or ignored doesn’t send out a good image of your business. It’s a good idea to keep an eye out for people talking to you or about you so you can respond, after all that’s what social media is all about!
Grow your audience
To help boost interaction try growing your audience. Like and follow more people and businesses relevant to your company.
You don’t want to be posting content every 5 minutes, remember quality over quantity. Never post for the sake of it, always try to inform, engage or entertain.
There’s so much content out there that your audience will be interested in, so make the most of it. Find, like and share other engaging content that’s out there.
