Together we can take on the world

Last week I attended the spring Entrepreneur’s Forum conference, Together we can take on the world at the Sage Gateshead where regional and international

Charlotte Ent Forum

entrepreneurs shared their experiences to prove that with ambitious leadership, the sky really is the limit.

Here are some of the top quotes I took from the day:

The first are from ex SAS soldier who now runs an elite performance training business, Floyd Woodrow:

“How hard are you willing to work for your dreams?”

“There are 168 hours in a week, how do you maximise them?”

“Use power words and positive self-talk for example, courageous, resilient, and powerful.”

“You can if you think you can.”

Next we heard from the very funny self-made millionaire and owner of Pimlico Plumbers, Charlie Mullins:

“A man that never made a mistake never made f**k all!”

“When it comes to team, it’s important that you’re all drinking from the same teapot”

“You aint gonna get nowhere without hard work.”

“There’s only one way to do things and that’s the right way.”

Richard Tait started Cranium Inc which became the third largest games Company in the world. He now has a natural sports fuel brand as

well as many other businesses:

“As a leader, clear the path for the team and what they need to do.”

“You cannot give up. You have to be relentless, you have to be creative.”

“Resilience is the number one quality of entrepreneurs.”

Unfortunately I had to leave just before the last speaker Jamie Combs from Natural Balance Foods, so if anyone has any words of wisdom from him, please share!
