One of the largest material suppliers in the UK, William Smith Group 1832, has added to its team of experts with the appointment of a new National Sales Manager.
The Group has welcomed Steve Laundon, whose role will support the company’s dedication to boost businesses in the industries it works with.
Steve, who has experience in merchant banking, regulatory services and commercial print, will be directly responsible for the external sales team. He will also help William Smith Group 1832 to develop and grow, as well as find solutions for the company’s customers’ vinyl needs.
Chris Bradley, Head of Marketing at William Smith, part of the William Smith Group 1832, said: “We are incredibly excited to have Steve on the team. His experience and skills will help the business to continue to grow and expand our customer base.”
Steve has previously worked in a commercial print division, liaising with sign and graphics companies as the head of a telesales team.
He said: “Following my initial visit to the site in Barnard Castle, seeing the facilities, hearing about the future plans to develop the business and most importantly, meeting the people, I knew it was an exciting opportunity and I wanted to be part of it all.”
